Austrian based pianist, composer and improviser, Jordina Millà explores free improvised music and contemporary language. Introduced to the improvisational world by Agustí Fernández, her music is in constant development towards other logics of expression. She has released acclaimed albums, including Males herbes, solo Album, When forests dream, two pianos with Agustí Fernández, String Fables duo with Barry Guy and Live in Munich, by ECM Records.

She is member of Barry Guy’s The Blue Shroud Band and different other formations playing among musicians like: Mats Gustafsson, dieb13 , Vini Cajado, Maurizio Takara, Gonçalo Almeida, Almut Kühne , Wieland Möller , Kenji Herbert, Lucas Niggli, Axel Dörner, Sofia Labropoulou, Núria Andorrà and Sònia Sánchez. She is the funder of PRISMA, an initiative that aims to make the discipline of improvisation visible in the city of Salzburg.
